Well… it seems everything is on the move right now. Quite
normal, if we think about it... Taking into account that at this time, in 13
days, I will be waiting at the boarding gate in Barajas.
Last Thursday night I decided it was
time to by my ticket to Dublin. After having compared all the different options
for the flights –flying on July 2nd and returning on September 28th,
flying the 2nd and returning the 29th, flying on July 3rd…-
and comparing between different webpages –Skyscanner and Edreams, Edreams and
Iberia, Iberia and AerLingus…- I bought my ticket. And I’m going to Dublin next
July 2nd.
Once I had the tickets in my hand (though where they really are is in my inbox), I kept on looking for accommodation. Driving myself crazy, because
no matter how much I looked, I could find nothing acceptable. Even after
filtering by neighborhoods, everything seemed too far, or too expensive, or too
shabby… Yolanda, the coordinator in Spain, gave me the e-mail address of the 3
girls who are now in Dublin, and I contacted them. And, also María, who is the sisterofafriendofmysiste and has been lending
me a hand.
In the end, I don’t remember exactly
how, I ended up on an Agency’s webpage, which accommodates people who go to
Dublin, and also organizes English courses. So, after a couple of e-mails, I
booked a room yesterday.
Eire, here we go!
